Mr. Harrop has practiced civil, structural, and surveying disciplines at Caputo and Wick Ltd. since 1981.  His sensitivity towards design and attention to detail has often provided unique solutions in resolving conflicts between client objectives, design necessity, design constraints, and environmental protection.  He serves as the project manager for engineering projects, overseeing and leading the planning, design, contract document, and construction administration efforts.  He is knowledgeable in the permitting processes pertaining to site construction, stormwater management, wetlands regulation, and building codes.  His experience and leadership and decision-making abilities provide him with the skills necessary to effectively guide projects through the planning, design, permitting, and construction phases.

Mr. Harrop is well versed in client/design team coordination and has applied his management and engineering expertise to projects extending as far south as Miami, FL and west to Denver, CO.  He has continued to be involved in a number of urban-setting projects, such as various buildings and site-improvement projects on the Providence College and Moses Brown School campuses.  His typical daily responsibilities include oversight and general project management for the majority of engineering projects, as well as design and construction administration for the majority of site, roadway, structural, and architectural engineering projects undertaken by Caputo and Wick Ltd.
