Moses Brown School, Providence, RI

Caputo and Wick Ltd. has maintained a long-standing relationship with the Moses Brown School and has provided engineering and environmental permitting services for a variety of projects.  We have assisted in structural engineering capacities for buildings and retaining walls, have provided drainage and grading improvements campus wide, and have provided land surveying services.  To optimize internal traffic patterns and minimize pedestrian/vehicle conflicts, we conducted traffic studies of the campus and surrounding streets and developed a number of recommendations.  One-way flow directions were established, student drop-off locations were designated, and increased pedestrian safety measures were implemented.  In some of our latest projects, we teamed with the architectural firm of Durkee, Brown, Viveiros, and Werenfelds Architects on the design and construction of the Woodman Community and Performance Center and teamed with JJA Sports, LLC on the reconstruction of the baseball field and tennis complex. On these projects, we provided site survey, structural engineering, civil site and drainage designs, stormwater permitting (RIDEM RIPDES and Stormwater Discharge System Registration), construction layout, and construction administration services.
