Providence College - Anderson Stadium

Caputo and Wick Ltd. worked with JJA Sports, LLC. and Symmes, Maini, and McKee Associates on the design and construction of a new sports complex adjacent to Schneider Area (located at the former Raymond Field).  The complex comprises a new two-level parking garage with rooftop tennis courts, a new stadium with arena seating and press boxes, and a new elevated walkway to link the stadium with Schneider Area, the parking garage, and the campus interior.  Significant advanced utility and parking relocations were required to accommodate the complex.  Caputo and Wick Ltd.'s services included surveying, drainage analysis, stormwater management design, structural engineering, site and utility design, stormwater permitting (RIDEM RIPDES and Stormwater Discharge System Registration), construction layout, and construction administration. Installation of a stone-and-pipe recharge system designed by Caputo and Wick Ltd. is shown below, and the completed field is shown at left, where the subsurface recharge system was constructed beneath the playing surface.
