Providence College - Parking Garage

Caputo and Wick Ltd. maintains a long-standing relationship with Providence College and, as part of our  services, provides structural design expertise campus wide for building maintenance and renovations, new construction, and site enhancements.  The images shown on this page reflect our structural design expertise for a parking garage constructed in 2015 as part of the newly-constructed Anderson Stadium complex.  The parking garage comprises two parking levels and accommodates regulation tennis courts on its roof surface.  The project required significant underground utility relocation given the adjacent campus power plant, the design and construction of retaining walls to address a steep abutting bank and to create a drive ramp to the second level, and integration with adjacent stadium walkways and grandstands.  The image at top left shows the drive ramp retaining walls in the foreground and structural steel being erected on the second level.  The image at upper right was taken from inside the second level prior to concrete pours.  The image at bottom left shows the the completed parking garage, with the drive ramp at left and elevated stadium walkway at right.  The middle image shows the second level ingress and egress, upper-level tennis deck, and proximity to the facilities plant. The completed roof-deck tennis courts are shown at bottom right.  Caputo and Wick Ltd.'s additional services on the parking garage and Anderson Stadium project included surveying and mapping, site/drainage design, stormwater permitting, construction layout, and construction administration.
