YMCA - MacColl Field - Multi-Purpose Building

The central feature of Master Plan implementation at MacColl Field in Lincoln, RI, was the construction of a 52,000 square-foot, multi-purpose building purposed to house administrative offices, a swimming and diving pool, gymnasium, and wellness facilities.  Working with the architectural firm of ai designs, ltd., the building was crafted with vaulted ceilings, a mezzanine, and balconies to achieve optimal functional space while providing interior visual appeal.  The structural engineering component of Caputo and Wick Ltd.'s services included interfacing with geotechnical engineers, design of the foundation system, sizing of structural members, design of the structural building frame, and construction administration.
